Set Free in East Asia

“Before I started in the program, my relationship with God was disconnected, and I was not willing to read the Bible or pray. During the week when we were learning to fast, the power of the Holy Spirit began moving in my heart and I was set free from my burdens. Since then my relationship with God has been totally restored, and now my heart is at peace and full of joy.
My thinking has also been improved. I almost never got affirmation at home and I was not able to think about things from others’ perspectives, so I was picky and demanding all the time. But the culture of this program is so positive. I realized that a truly spiritual person should not be legalistic or demanding, but someone who is willing to affirm others.
I used to think that I was a very ordinary person and not talented at all. But during this program I constantly received challenging assignments and practiced what I was learning. Through this God gave me lots of inspiration and creativity, especially in leading worship.
