A Fresh Anointing Coming
“This is what you need to train pastors.”
Christophe is a Hope International staff member from Burundi. Some years ago, an intercessor had told him that he would one day be training pastors. He had no idea how that could be; he was only a young believer of a few months!
“I just trusted God. Every year the words of this prophecy were coming back into my mind. I have continued to have contact with many pastors inviting me to preach and even assist in ordinations. I remain amazed. I was thinking that in order to fulfill this calling, I would have to do some intense courses in theology, but during the last session of this training (focused on Building Healthy Church) I heard the Holy Spirit remind me, ‘Remember this is what you need to train pastors.’ And it was like a light was coming in my heart and a big horizon was opening in front of me and I was feeling a fresh anointing coming in my spirit.”
Upon returning to Burundi, Christophe and his colleague used their first 4D design for an event for Hope. Now Christophe is using what he learned with leaders of a church he has been walking alongside for the last five years.
“They were really excited to see an easy-to-use model help them grow more intentional in their prayers.”
Christophe is planning more training sessions with this church, and preparing a retreat for pastors in September.
