Powerful Evangelists Being Built in Christ
Receiving Christ and experiencing miracles in the Persian-speaking world.
This year our partner, Elam Ministries, has developed new designs to make their online leader development programs more Four Dynamic-oriented. As they are implementing these 4D designs, they are discovering that there is no limit to what God can do through them!
Every day when they get together, they share testimonies and pray, and then go out to do evangelism. One young man went out and immediately brought someone to faith. Later he was invited to the new believer’s home to share the Gospel with his relatives, and five members of the family came to faith too! This deeply impacted the emerging leader and has encouraged every participant in the course.
Another of the leaders in the group went out, met a couple, and led them to the Lord. The next day he went to their house to disciple them and discovered that their two-year-old girl was paralyzed from the neck down since birth. He prayed over her for healing in Jesus’ name, and encouraged them to continue in this.
The next day they called him and told him that their daughter had taken a few steps. The very next day he visited them, and after praying over her again with them, witnessed her walking! The whole family and extended family were there to see this miracle – a miracle that would not have happened if this young leader had not faithfully gone out to share the Gospel and act in faith.
In another training, a couple going out to share the Gospel met a boy pulling a heavy bag. The husband offered to help him, carrying it back to the boy’s family, who was very poor. He and his wife showed love to them, taking the time to get to know them. They began to pray for the family, asking God how they should go about helping them. They prayed in faith that God would do something that would enable them to help.
The very next day their pastor called, asking them for their advice on how to use the money he had recently received for the poor. Of course, they immediately went and bought food and other supplies for the family they had met, sharing Jesus with them in the process. The entire family received Christ!
Another design for the leaders was to go and serve the poor in different ways. One couple makes food packages for the poor, packaging them with a New Testament and a phone number for more information. They received over 300 messages from people thanking them for the packages and wanting to know about Jesus, and ten of the people who responded immediately gave their hearts to Jesus. Not all of these people received packages; some had heard about it through their families.
Our emerging leaders are being built in Christ through the 4Ds, and as a result are going out to share Christ and love people in their communities. God is on the move!
