Vital Training for Emerging Leaders
Young pastors are growing as healthy leaders.
In January 2019, Ignatius (a 30-year-old church worker) attended a two-day Building Healthy Leaders (BHL) workshop along with ministry colleagues and pastors in East Sumba. Being in ministry was not a new thing for Ignatius; he had always had a deep heart to help and lead the people he serves to live for Jesus. However, he was seeking to know how to lead a ministry well.
At the workshop, Ignatius grew in character and gained new insights into how a healthy leader should lead an organization with patience, humility, and a work ethic focused on God.
“This workshop greatly blessed me as a servant of God. I can now see the vital need for healthy leadership. All of this has equipped me to be a healthy leader and glorify God’s name.”
Ignatius is currently ministering to young people in his city and plans to become a pastor on the island of Sumatra.
