Depending on Jesus for Every Step in Cameroon
Youth in Cameroon are taking dependency on Jesus to the next level.
Brother M has served as the youth president of one of the largest congregations in Cameroon as well as youth president for one of the regions for many years. He joined one of our trainings last year, and we were able to touch base with him again at a recent training in the town he was sent to after graduation.
“I fell in love with LeaderSource’s approach to leadership last year when I participated in the workshop you organized. Before I came to the workshop, I thought that the leader had to do all he could to succeed and move his team. But during this workshop I was challenged with the fact that leadership is all about the leader’s health and not about obtaining success. If a leader is healthy, results are inevitable. Also, during the training I noticed that everything that was taught was from the Bible. It was Jesus’ model. This has greatly influenced my leadership as a youth ministry leader. Now I depend on Jesus for any step I want to take.”
Given his appointment to a state leadership position in the South region of the country, we are excited and looking forward to the ways in which the Lord will use him both to lead by example and grow other leaders in that part of the country.
