Leslie was born to medical missionary parents in Pakistan and grew up with a missions mentality. On returning to the US for college, she studied nursing and earned a BSN in 1979. It was during these college years that she began to understand more about Spirit-filled living and the value of good teaching.

After marrying and having three children, the family started attending Living Faith Fellowship in Elkhart where Malcolm Webber pastored. When he began to travel and write more, Leslie volunteered as a proofreader and eventually joined the LeaderSource team as an editor/proofreader. She enjoys being a part of an organization that prioritizes spiritual health and offers many resources to leaders in the nations.
