Julia grew up in a Christian home, surrounded by six brothers and two sisters. She accepted Jesus as her Saviour at a young age, but it wasn’t until years later that she truly accepted Him as Lord over her life and surrendered to Him. 

Her love for missions began at a young age when her parents would read missionary stories to her and her siblings. She has travelled to many different countries over the years, including twice to take pictures at an orphanage in India. 

Julia attended Living Faith Fellowship, the church Malcolm pastored at, for most of her life and grew up hearing stories about what God was doing in other parts of the world through LeaderSource. She came on staff at LeaderSource at the end of 2018 as a part-time graphic designer and photo manager and was promoted to full-time in 2021 while picking up various administration tasks.

In her spare time, she enjoys checking out local coffee shops, spending time with family and friends, exploring God’s amazing creation, doing artistic hobbies, and traveling to new places.
